But what most people don’t know is that he has some pretty sinister purposes in mind. Rumor has it that he even used them to lure and kidnap children!

And that’s not even the worst part. Afton was obsessed with immortality, and he believed that he could achieve it by transferring his consciousness into the likes of Freddy. Yeah, that’s right – he wanted to become an animatronic himself! But of course, things didn’t go according to plan. Afton ended up getting trapped inside one of his own animatronics, and he became known as the infamous Killer in Purple. He’s been haunting the FNAF universe ever since, causing all sorts of chaos and terror.
